Every month an intention will be chosen to inspire overall goodness for your life. It’s important to infer what meaning you draw from the sign, symbol or card selected (prior to reading the additional information provided) based on your own internal guidance system known as your intuition. Oracle, angel, animal totem, runes, tarot cards can be used to assist you along your journey. These devices should be used with care and discernment.
Love is seeing people as they are and accepting them as they are. In addition, we need to accept and love ourselves, forgive our short comings and rejoice in our strengths. This card is an opportunity to examine the relationships you have in your life and the choices you make with matters of the heart. Do you have the right supportive people in your life that add to your being? Are there people in your life that take away from your self worth? Decide this month on where to focus your love energy and where you can make some changes.
Chameleon advises to stay in the background and surrender to spirit rather than trying to control all aspects of your life. This month your opportunity is to sit back, be the observer and listen. Allow yourself to flow with life rather then forcing life to happen. The Universe is unfolding as it should. This card affirms that you do not have to do everything yourself but to place trust in an ever loving supportive Universe.
Awareness is the ability to connect with your deeper self and also connect with the infinite and all that exists around you. In this, you will experience truly unlimited possibility. When you disconnect from source, you also disconnect from everyone and everything around thus limiting your potential. This month practice creating conscious connections with people, animals and with nature. In doing so you can experience who and what you really are.
Devotion/Nature Spirits are calling you forward to reconnect with the great outdoors in quiet contemplation. “See how nature-trees, flowers, grass grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence…We need silence to be able to touch souls.” ~Mother Teresa
This months card is beckoning you to go outside. The natural World can offer you a mental and emotional clearing that is required from the day to day activities that we can become run down by. Allow the beauty of nature to reset your being when you become stuck, weary or upset.

I witnessed a crow on the 1st of October and because it made its presence known to me, I chose to use the symbolism of this bird for our monthly intent. There are a few different ways to look at how this sign may assist you on your path. The one that resonated with me was the following; “The crow teaches us about change. Change is not to be feared; it is part of the natural course of things. The death or end of one thing signifies the birth or beginning of another. Crow teaches us about cycles, too. They are carrion birds, and help you remember that even in death there is something that feeds life. Death is not loss; Its transformation.”
Reflecting on the aforementioned, what changes have occurred in your life lately? Can you look to those changes and see the joy that will come? Are you at a stage where you hear an internal call in combination with a heavy heart knowing that something needs to change but your fears keep you from making that change?
If this is the case, I would encourage you to use meta-thinking in those moments that test your emotional and mental mindset. Meta-thinking is another way of going above and beyond. The crow has been known to build nests in tall trees which demonstrates how we can move through our own changes this month. Instead of simply seeing what’s in front of you in a one dimensional way, attempt to look at the situation from a different perspective in order to gain personal power. Perhaps, from a higher perspective such as looking at your situation with the eyes of spirit. What is the bigger picture here? I often use the affirmations like “the Universe is always conspiring in my favour and out of this situation only good will come.” As I’m sure you’re aware, the only way to make way for the new, is to be willing to let go of the old.
Great things are in store for you, I can feel it!

This month’s intention brings to mind my current state of affairs. At this time I am half way through my Yoga Teachers Training with Empowered Yoga. This weekend I felt great, hopeful and motivated. The weekend previous, I felt frustrated and wondered how I was going to make it through. I am thankful for pushing through these times because anything worthwhile takes hard work, perseverance and dedication. The end result becomes that much sweeter.
For the month of November notice when you hit a wall, and feel like you can’t go any further. Give yourself a self-care retreat. Go outdoors and walk in nature. Connect and ground yourself down to the energy of the Earth. If needed–participate in some vigorous activity in order to break your negative or low state. Allow some space for a shift in perspective to take place because it will. Life demonstrates the notion of impermanence daily. Keeping a personal journal can show you this constant state of flux by tracking your moods, and the weather on a day to day basis. Whatever you do just don’t quit!
This month’s intention came about by seeing repetitive number sequences recently, in addition to hearing individuals speak to the phenomenon regarding the meanings surrounding these repetitious numbers. It is said that when we continuously see the same numbers it’s the Universe’s way of trying to tell us something.
One of the website’s I often find myself referring to regarding the meaning of number sequences is Angel Numbers. Here you will find every kind of number combinations and their corresponding message. Another source I use is Doreen Virtue’s Angel Numbers 101. Note this book only takes you to number 999 and doesn’t include a very common number most often seen by many people, that being 11:11.
Take notice this month of recurring numbers popping up in your own life whether they show up through license plates, account numbers, or addresses. Again have fun with it and use your own discernment.
This month’s intention is about being a hero in your own life. As a human you have the capacity to affect the trajectory of your life by the stories you tell yourself. What experiences have you gone through that may have crippled or stifled your growth and opportunities? What meaning did you assign to these events? What did you come to believe about yourself because of what happened?
This months card asks you to be curious and take a look at these interpretations and see if they’ve had a disempowering effect on your life. Thereafter decide if its worth rewriting your script in such a way that will empower you. Perhaps use your experience to become an advocate for others. In doing so, a new meaning may be attributed to the situation and potentially have an overall positive affect on your life. Your mind is a tool, use it to your benefit. It’s never too late to go from victim to hero!
I wish you the best that life has to offer in 2016. Happy New Year!
This month’s intention brings to mind the natural flow of water. In this case I want you to think about being in the presence of a breathtaking waterfall. Watching the water effortlessly move around and over objects in its path. The waterfall card is here to serve as a reminder this month to work with what is. You are being called to surrender like water and carve your way through situations that show up. The waterfall demonstrates power and yet softness. Move with life as its presented with ease and grace. Water doesn’t stop flowing because it meets an obstacle in its path, it forges on adapting to natural laws.
Approach this month with a fluid like movement. Try not resist to what shows up as this will only create more tension. Instead trust, relax and yield to what is happening. In times of high stress remember to up your self-care. You may decide to sit in quiet contemplation, enjoy a hot bubble bath, and read a good book or whatever else brings you peace.
Enjoy this month and Happy Valentines Day!
