Autobiography of a Yogi recounts the exceptional life of Paramahansa Yogananda. As expressed on this written work is “One of the 100 Best Spiritual Books of the Twentieth Century,” It’s been translated into 20 languages, and is regarded worldwide as a classic of religious literature.

This particular spiritual guru was one of the first to bring the teachings of Kriya yoga to the West. His teachings were soul-revealing. People gathered from all walks of life, from around the World to experience his likeness and wisdom. This book discusses many enlightened situations that Yogananda witnessed during his lifetime.

If you’re seeking inspiration and in the same way, you desire to strengthen your faith in something greater, this wonderful read will do just that. After all, don’t we want less fear and more faith?!

I thoroughly enjoyed the play on words and descriptive dialogue that enlivened the senses and made for a better understanding of the points that were being conveyed. There are many little moments of deep food for thought lines sprinkled from beginning to end. As an example: “Be comfortable within your purse,” he often said. “Extravagance will bring you discomfort.”

A read that makes you think about your current position in life, thats my kind of book!
