November’s Monthly Intent

This month’s intention brings to mind my current state of affairs. At this time I am half way through my Yoga Teachers Training with Empowered Yoga. This weekend I felt great, hopeful and motivated. The weekend previous, I felt frustrated and wondered how I was going to make it through. I am thankful for pushing through these times because anything worthwhile takes hard work, perseverance and dedication. The end result becomes that much sweeter.

For the month of November notice when you hit a wall, and feel like you can’t go any further. Give yourself a self-care retreat. Go outdoors and walk in nature. Connect and ground yourself down to the energy of the Earth. If needed–participate in some vigorous activity in order to break your negative or low state. Allow some space for a shift in perspective to take place because it will. Life demonstrates the notion of impermanence daily. Keeping a personal journal can show you this constant state of flux by tracking your moods, and the weather on a day to day basis. Whatever you do just don’t quit!
