I witnessed a crow on the 1st of October and because it made its presence known to me, I chose to use the symbolism of this bird for our monthly intent. There are a few different ways to look at how this sign may assist you on your path. The one that resonated with me was the following; “The crow teaches us about change. Change is not to be feared; it is part of the natural course of things. The death or end of one thing signifies the birth or beginning of another. Crow teaches us about cycles, too. They are carrion birds, and help you remember that even in death there is something that feeds life. Death is not loss; Its transformation.”
Reflecting on the aforementioned, what changes have occurred in your life lately? Can you look to those changes and see the joy that will come? Are you at a stage where you hear an internal call in combination with a heavy heart knowing that something needs to change but your fears keep you from making that change?
If this is the case, I would encourage you to use meta-thinking in those moments that test your emotional and mental mindset. Meta-thinking is another way of going above and beyond. The crow has been known to build nests in tall trees which demonstrates how we can move through our own changes this month. Instead of simply seeing what’s in front of you in a one dimensional way, attempt to look at the situation from a different perspective in order to gain personal power. Perhaps, from a higher perspective such as looking at your situation with the eyes of spirit. What is the bigger picture here? I often use the affirmations like “the Universe is always conspiring in my favour and out of this situation only good will come.” As I’m sure you’re aware, the only way to make way for the new, is to be willing to let go of the old.
Great things are in store for you, I can feel it!
